Men's Basketball Launches New Website


IOWA CITY, Iowa - On the heels of signing the 19th-best recruiting class in the country, Iowa's men's basketball program has just launched a new website. Fans now have another place to follow the Hawkeyes online. Iowa's new site, HawkeyeBasketball.com, allows fans a chance to go behind the scenes with the Hawkeye basketball program on and off the court. 

The new website was designed by Bluechip Athletic Solutions, the same organization responsible for the football team's GoHawks.com and the women's basketball squad's IowaWomensBasketball.com websites. IowaWomensBasketball.com is complete with exclusive videos, photo galleries and content featuring the Hawkeye women's basketball program. 

HawkeyeBasketball.com will be updated throughout the year with exclusive videos, including game highlights and player features, along with news stories and other content.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Bluechip Athletic Solutions have announced the team's website has been honored with a W3 Award and a Davey Award for its design.


The site, at www.muskegonlumberjacks.com, is the first hockey team website to receive these awards in the same year.

The W3 Awards recognized outstanding websites, web marketing and web video. There were more than 2,700 entries with awards given only to the top sites.

The Davey Awards are international awards for creativity from the best small firms and honor achievement in creative ideas, intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking.
