Bluechip’s Multimedia Production Services team on set with NC State’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Gottfried

In June 2011, NC State University became one of the newest members of the Bluechip family.  The project scope not only included a department wide implementation of “Bluechip Enterprise,” our Compliance, Recruiting and Student-Athlete management technology suite, but also our World Class Marketing Services.

Bluechip will debut a full scale branding and imaging campaign featuring NC State Football, Baseball and Men’s and Women’s Basketball this Fall.  Our Multimedia Production Services team was on campus this week capturing video footage for the campaigns.  This photo was taken during an interview with NC State Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Mark Gottfried.

Bluechip Announces Marc Lippens as new Manager of Compliance Solutions Department

Bluechip Athletic Solutions is proud to announce that they have named Marc Lippens as manager of its Compliance Solutions Department.

Lippens’ dual experience as a collegiate football coach and compliance official perfectly situates him to lead the direction of this growing unit.

“I have the benefit of understanding what a coach needs in order to win a recruiting battle without having to be second guessed, as well as the unforgiving time demands a compliance official endures, and can marry the demands of the two,” Lippens said.

The primary offering from this department is “Bluechip Enterprise,” the most advanced technology suite on the market, handling recruiting, compliance and student-athlete management within a single portal.

The suite manages all aspects of recruiting prospective student-athletes, enables phone, contact and evaluation logs to be submitted paperlessly, allows compliance departments to ensure NCAA rules are being adhered to, and manages the relationship with current student-athletes in a paperless environment through online forms, automated workflow and online signatures.

“There are only a handful of people in the country who have both the coaching and compliance experience that Marc Lippens has,” said Steve Kennedy, Bluechip CEO & Co-Founder. "Marc’s abilities and singular knowledge ensures that our Compliance Solutions Department will continue to be an innovator in this space.”

Lippens most recently served as Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Support at Bethune-Cookman University.  He previously served as defensive coordinator for five seasons at B-CU and Assistant to the Head Coach at Duke University.

“If I have helped both coaches and compliance officials do their jobs better, then at the end of the day I will have done my job,” Lippens said.
