Bluechip is proud to announce that Vanderbilt Athletics is now an official development partner for BLUECHIP ENTERPRISE, the company’s web-native compliance, recruiting and student-athlete management technology. With the implementation of the technology, Vanderbilt will be able to efficiently manage mission-critical department wide operations and mitigate risk, all from a single web-native system.
The BLUECHIP ENTERPRISE technology suite is comprised of three components: RECRUITING RADAR, a Compliance Portal and a Student-Athlete Portal. RECRUITING RADAR manages all aspects of recruiting prospective student-athletes, and includes a new Hybrid Mobile App that tracks text messages (SMS) and phone calls on a coach’s mobile phone in real-time. The Compliance Portal allows compliance departments to ensure all NCAA rules are being adhered to, with easy-to-use reporting and proactive monitoring technology referred to as “Agents”. The Student-Athlete Portal enables the institution to manage its relationship with current student-athletes in a paperless environment through online forms, automated practice logs, managing equipment assignments, class schedules, requesting tutors, community service events and complimentary ticketing.
Each component of BLUECHIP ENTERPRISE is supported by a compliance rules engine, which has been independently audited to ensure up-to-date information and adherence to NCAA Bylaws. “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Bluechip,” said Candice Storey Lee, Associate Director of Student Athletics and SWA at Vanderbilt. “By once again agreeing to a development partnership with Bluechip, Vanderbilt shows its continuing focus on following all NCAA regulations to its highest intent, and availing its staff to the latest in cutting edge technology and easy to use software”.
Vanderbilt signed on as one of Bluechip’s original clients in 2005 and has combined on a number of successful development ventures in the past. “Bluechip has consistently delivered on every promise made to our University and remains the industry leader in providing the most powerful and effective technology on the market,” said Andrew Turner, Recruiting/Compliance Coordinator at Vanderbilt. “With the coming advent of BLUECHIP ENTERPRISE, our jobs as coaches and compliance officials will get easier as we keep pace and enforce the ever-changing NCAA regulations.”
“By combining RECRUITING RADAR, the Compliance Portal, and the Student-Athlete Portal, we have taken the next step as the country’s leading athletic technology experts,” said Steve Kennedy, CEO/Founder of Bluechip. “I’m especially pleased about the development of our Hybrid Mobile App that tracks text messages (SMS) and phone calls on a coach’s mobile phone.”
